I’m Blythe, a Licensed Professional Counselor and the owner of Busy Bee, LPC. I was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, and have proudly called Dallas, TX, home since 2009.
After earning my Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Family Science from Louisiana Tech University, I pursued my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas at Dallas, graduating in 2015. My professional journey has taken me through diverse areas of mental health, including community services, forensic mental health, and inpatient hospital care. I have had the privilege of working with clients across all age groups, from geriatrics to children, teens, and adults.
My greatest passion is helping others, particularly women and individuals from Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities. I strive to create a safe, open, and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their innermost thoughts, feelings, and past traumas. Using a person-centered approach, I ensure that each session is tailored to your specific needs and led by your own goals and desires. Many of my clients come to me dealing with the lasting effects of childhood trauma. Together, we work on reconnecting with their inner child, fostering healing and personal growth both from the past and for the future.

In my spare time I love spending time with my daughter, family, and friends. I love cooking, walking , biking, and exploring new adventures in the city. - XO Blythe
